What I find interesting, is that the javascript used on the shining blade and white mantle pages are from www.guildwars2.com, while the pages themselves are located on www.guildwars.com.

In fact, the javascripts weren't even there yesterday.

I noticed only the Obey page has the gw2 javascript tag.

It looks like it's simply ANet reusing code, more specifically, the wallpaper download code.

If you compare the page elements of:

http://www.guildwars2.com/en/art/wallpapers/ with http://www.guildwars.com/white_mantle/ it's pretty clear that it's the exact same download mechanism for the wallpapers.

Aside from that, while I've spent enough money on elite armors for my characters to have nothing but contempt for the concept of costumes, I've had an undying love for Justiciar Hablion's armor since the prophecies days, however. I would think long and hard if they rolled it out as a costume.

That armour does look pretty sweet. But I still would rather give them my money for extra Hero slots. If they need to make money that would be my best bet.

/agree. Id micro-buy that option too.

But my bet's that will be something like the BMP, missions with PVE rewards. Yay, more lore (i hope so)

Hopes for massive war where you choose your side...but doubt it will happen
Love the art style of the posters, i would like to see a red and blue one in a Obama style too.
Im thinking possible costumes or some sort of hint about the birthday event. I wouldn't really mind new BMP though im sure many people would like free content instead. Maybe its a combination of quests for the birthday or a BMP where you recieve armor peiecs or costumes.

There has been talk of changing the lore, or at least adding to it, and I'm "99.9% sure" that you wouldn't need to change the lore if the content was just costumes.

Hell yeah. That'd be an instant purchase for me, personally.

(Unless they somehow put an unpleasant part in with it, as Anet is wont to do.)

A BMP with costumes as part of the reards for $X.xx would be the best I think as it would add content, create cashflow for anet and you'd feel like you got something for you $ rather than just a costume.

Extra hero slots are off course a win for me also though except Id have to decide which account deserved them :P

Why does the Dismantle picture have MissingNo on it?

I love this armor, it should be in the White Mantle wallpaper.

Guess this is where we'll find out who takes over the fate of the Human race until GW2.

The March 25, 2010 update adds a new explorable instance to Talmark Wilderness.
So my guess is a new quest chain.

I don't see that - but Gwen and Lieutenant Thackery have a new conversation inside the Hall of Monuments.

...and about four more. Go out, then back in again.
Cute convo's - maybe Gwen'll get a little less emo in the future.

Emo? Try ungrateful bitch and it's done to death. Please Anet ffs can we either get her on Prozac or just leave her out of whatever you have planned?
